BrightWorldKids
Child Data & Safety FAQ
Designed for parents and guardians
What information do you collect about my child?
- Only what’s needed for learning: age range, learning activities and answers, and progress indicators (difficulty, mastery).
- No names, addresses, or contact details.
Do you record my child’s voice or video?
- No. BrightWorldKids does not store voice, video, or images of children.
Does AI make decisions about my child?
- Yes — but only educational ones.
- AI helps choose how hard a question should be, whether to explain differently, and what topic to explore next.
- It never advertises, profiles, or judges children.
Can I see what my child is learning?
- Yes. Parents can view topics covered, learning progress, and engagement signals (e.g. confusion or confidence).
- All summaries are designed to be clear and non-technical.
Can I delete my child’s data?
- Yes. You can request deletion at any time by contacting us.
What happens if my child shares personal information?
- Our system is designed to avoid collecting personal data, automatically redirect the conversation, and prevent storage of sensitive information.
Is my child safe using BrightWorldKids?
- Safety is built into the system: strict content boundaries, no adult topics, no political or violent content, and gentle redirection if inappropriate questions arise.
Who can access the data?
- Only you (the parent/guardian) and authorized BrightWorldKids staff maintaining the system.
